I have purchased maybe 6-7 little indoor heli's in the past two years. They have all sucked. They are almost impossible to steer is my main complaint about all of them. They just don't react to the controller inputs the way they should. I also have two much larger outdoor copters. One is a piccolo that I had to assemble myself. That's more of a hobby copter. It's powerful and flys great once you get everything balanced but apparently I'm an idiot because it took me a good two weeks oty finally get it to fly more than a few feet. It would usually take off in one direction of the other the moment it lifted off the ground. Anyway, it got too expensive and too aggravating as it would break at the slightest crash and it just wasn't fun. All I wanted to do was fly and that thing was hard to do that with.
Ok got off subject big time there. The point of this whole "story" is this little Syma S107 copter is by far the best most fun copter I have ever purchased or flown. In fact, it put my others to such shame in terms of control that I threw all o fthem in the trash. This thing does what all of those other ones are supposed to do but never did. The trim works great on this. It took me 3 seconds to set it and the copter sits in mid air without turning at all or moving forward or backwards. It turns very crisply (if that's a word), it moves forward when you push the stick fwd and back when you push back. It's very controllable. It's also made of metal except for the cockpit and blades of course, but it's durable as heck. I've crashed it many times into walls and the cieling and my garagge door opener rails and it just keeps righ ton going. It's so good that after 15 minutes, I wnet back and bought two mor4 on amazon just to have in case this breaks.

I was going to purchase a different, more expensive helicopter, but the reviews on here swayed me to try out this little guy. Best decision ever for a first heli. Durability is through the roof. I've clipped walls while trying to maneuver through drafts, shot it into the ceiling by accident, had tumbles from 8 feet up onto a hardwood floor, and run it into the birds' cages a few times while entertaining them. (They find it fascinating.) And it keeps going. The rotor blades can take a beating (still on first set) and all I've had to adjust was one of the landing skids and I have a cracked tail decoration (top V piece).
Maneuverability is perfection. It hovers easily with minimal adjustment of the trim. It turns immediately and recovers from mistakes quickly. The learning curve is minimal. Within a couple flights I was winding in and out of doorways and around obstacles.
Price can't be beat. This little guy is worth at least twice what you pay for it here at Amazon.
Had a buddy (we're in our 30s) try it when he stopped by for a visit. 15 mins later he was on my laptop purchasing one for himself. So it's definitely entertainment for kids of all ages.
The only drawback to the blue S107G is that it's almost impossible to find replacement body parts/decorations in blue. Everything I've found, with the exception of main rotor blades, are all yellow or red. Not really a bad thing... just wish there were blue replacement parts. I may get a full set of yellow parts now since I need to replace the cracked tail decoration.
Summary: if you're looking for the best little indoor heli out there, this is it.
